Position Summary
Cornerstone Wireless is seeking an experienced Shuttle Operations Manager to oversee daily transportation operations at our Cartersville, GA location. This position is responsible for managing shuttle and delivery activities, coordinating driver schedules, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on transportation leader with experience managing drivers, dispatch operations, fleet coordination, and logistics execution in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a transportation team while ensuring safe, reliable, and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily shuttle and delivery schedules based on customer requirements, production plans, and operational priorities.
- Manage daily driver assignments, dispatch activities, and route execution to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries.
- Lead, coach, and support drivers to achieve safety, service, and performance expectations.
- Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing development for new and existing drivers.
- Monitor daily transportation activities, track delivery progress, and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Ensure consistent communication with drivers regarding schedules, assignments, changes, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and transportation documentation.
- Coordinate with Fleet Management regarding truck and trailer availability, preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment readiness.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and transportation procedures.
- Collaborate with customers, warehouse teams, production teams, and internal departments to support seamless operations.
- Monitor key transportation performance metrics, including on-time delivery, driver performance, equipment utilization, and service quality.
- Serve as a backup CDL driver when needed to support operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of transportation operations experience, including experience as a Transportation Supervisor, Fleet Supervisor, Dispatch Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing drivers and coordinating daily transportation operations.
- Strong understanding of transportation scheduling, dispatch processes, and logistics execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely operational decisions.
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business and operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and managing CDL drivers.
- Experience with shuttle operations, dedicated transportation, or automotive/manufacturing logistics.
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and transportation safety standards.
- Experience managing transportation KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Korean/English bilingual skills preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
